Bethlehem, PA - The men's track and field team competed in the Coach Pollard Invite at Moravian University on Friday. Junior
Cameron Almy and senior
Ethan Kenyon had a first place finishes for the Golden Flyers.
Almy took first place in the men's 10000 run finals with a time of 32:35.37.
In the men's 3000 steeple finals, Kenyon finished in 9:35.38 to take first place.
In the men's shot put finals, freshman
Graeden Heichberger threw 14.66 meters (48' 1") to take fourth place. Heichberger and sophomore
David Dobrowolski competed in the men's hammer finals as well, taking third and fourth place. Heichberger threw 49.41 meters (162' 1 ¼") and Dobrowski threw 47.3 meters (155' 4"). Dobrowolski also competed in the men's discus throw finals. He took 12th place and threw 35.52 meters (106' 8 ¼").
Junior
Adam Reifsteck, took 8th place and jumped 13.12 meters (43' 3 ½") in the men's triple jump finals.
Juniors
Jack Pomykaj and
Holden Thomas competed in the men's long jump finals. Pomykaj took 11th with 6.02 meters (19' 9") and Thomas took 18th with 5.85 meters (19' 2 ¼").
In the men's 400 hurdles finals, junior
Aaron Lund took 14th place and finished in 59.40.
Junior
Gavin McAllister finished the men's 800 run finals in 1:58.45 to take 9th place. Sophomores
Cole Hastings and
Jack Healy took 13th and 14th place with results of 1:59.26 and 1:59.29.
Ethan Kenyon also competed, took 20th and finished in 1:59.88.
In the men's 400 dash finals, junior
Jaylen Savage and senior
Benjamin Lewis took 9th and 11th place. Savage had a time of 50.05 and Lewis with 50.34.
Senior
Cade Eells completed the men's 1500 run finals in 3:58.45 to take second place.
The Golden Flyers return to action Saturday, April 19 at the University of Rochester Alumni Invitational.
