Nazareth College Athletics

Son of Juan and April Savage, Elmsford, NY … returning for his third track and field season after competing in six meets during the outdoor 2024 season... earned a PR in the 200 with a time of 22.78 at Rochester in April... at the Empire 8 Outdoor Championship meet, Savage placed 1st in the 4x400 with a time of 3:22.75, 2nd in the 4x100 with a time of 43.01, 7th in the 100 with a time of 11.38, 8th in the 400 with a time of 50.61, and 10th in the 200 with a time of 23.36... earned a PR in the 400 at the Farley Inter Regional Extravaganza with a time of 49.47... at the AARTFC Championship meet, Savage placed 15th in the 4x400 with a time of 3:23.99 and 25th in the 400 with a time of 49.62... holds Nazareth 4x100 record at 43.17 seconds... Empire 8 First-Team in the 4x400 relay... Empire 8 Second-Team in the 4x100 relay... Savage was also a member of the men's basketball team in 2023-24, earning Second Team All-Conference honors and other various accolades.

2023: Savage excelled for the Golden Flyers during the outdoor season in 2023… ran the anchor leg of Nazareth’s winning 4 x 400-meter relay (3:23.33) to help the Golden Flyers to their first-ever team title at the Empire 8 Conference Outdoor meet… also ran a personal-best time of :50.12 to finish second in the 400-meter dash and :11.19 in the 100 to finish fifth… anchored the 4 x 100-meter relay (:43.58) that finished fourth and went as fast as :23.12 in the 200… a standout for the Golden Flyers’ basketball team, Savage was Empire 8 Rookie of the Year in 2022-23 after starting 27 games and averaging 13 points and 3.4 rebounds per game as the team finished 21-6… named Empire 8 Rookie of the Week six times.

Scholastic: a graduate of Alexander Hamilton High School where he played basketball, football, baseball and competed on the track and field team … also played for Next Level Athletics and Chris Ward Basketball club teams … helped his team to a pair of Section One championships and was named the Sectional MVP as well as the league MVP as a senior … earned National Honor Society recognition.
