• A standout in both field hockey and lacrosse, Burns graduated as a top 10 all-time scorer in both sports
• Earned All-American honors in lacrosse and served as team captain in 2000 after leading Nazareth to a 16-4 record and the Golden Flyers’ first-ever NCAA Tournament berth
• Amassed 294 career points in lacrosse on 149 goals and 145 assists
• Set a school record with 15 points (6 goals, 9 assists) in one game
• Earned first-team Empire 8 all-star honors in 2000 and was selected to play in North-South Senior all-star game
• Played four seasons of field hockey and compiled 40 points on 15 goals and 10 assists and helped Nazareth to state tournament berths in 1998 and 1999
