Hall of Fame
• A loyal and steadfast supporter of the Golden Flyers’ athletic program, Buntich has served the Nazareth College community in various capacities since 1979
• Served as Nazareth’s Director of Admissions from 1979 through 1983, then Director of Student Activities and the Otto Shults Community Center from 1983 through 1990
• Named Dean of Student Affairs in 1990, then promoted to level of vice president in 1993
• In addition to overseeing athletics, Buntich was responsible for the supervision and management of several administrative offices, including Residential Life, Health Services, Student Activities, Campus Ministry, and Multicultural Affairs
• Responsible for developing and implementing programs and workshops addressing topics such as AIDS Awareness, Drug and Alcohol Abuse Education, and Sexual Harassment
• During his tenure as vice president, Nazareth has initiated athletic programs in women’s lacrosse, field hockey, track and field, cross country, and equestrian
• Said Nazareth Athletic Director Pete Bothner: “Paul’s vision and leadership have been an integral part of Nazareth’s athletic success and extend all the way back to his days as the college’s Director of Admissions.”
