* Joe Alden was a four-year member of Nazareth’s men’s lacrosse team and a starting defenseman on the Golden Flyers’ 1992 national championship team
* A three-time All-American, including a second-team selection in 1992
* Helped Nazareth to a four-year record of 47-11 and berths in the national semifinals in 1991 and 1993
* Served as team captain in 1993 and helped the Golden Flyers to a 10-3 record and an NCAA Tournament berth
* Ranks among the Golden Flyers’ all-time leaders in ground balls with 204
* Selected to compete in the North-South Senior all-star game in 1993
