Hall of Fame
• Sparks helped epitomize Nazareth's basketball success in the mid-1980s, leading the Golden Flyers to a 65-17 record over three seasons
• Led Nazareth to two NCAA Tournament appearances and three Chase Tournament titles
• Graduated with school records for most points scored in one game (40) and most rebounds in one game (21)
• A two-time Chase Tournament most valuable player, Sparks was also a two-time ECAC Upstate all-star and in 1987 was selected as an East Region All-American by the National Association of Basketball Coaches
• Amassed 1,263 points and 626 rebounds in three seasons
• Ranks among Nazareth's all-time leaders in points (1,263), rebounds (626), field goals made (477), free throws made (309), and career scoring average (15.4 ppg.)
• Inducted into the Chase Basketball Tournament Hall of Fame in January, 1999
