WILLIAMSTOWN, MA – Day one of the All-Atlantic Regional Track and Field Meet at Williams College featured
Cade Eells finishing in fourth place in the 3,000-meter steeplechase in a time of 9:17.31 on Wednesday. In addition,
Jack Pomykaj sits in sixth place with 3,153 points in the decathlon after five events.
Also competing in the steeplechase was
Ethan Kenyon ran a 9:41.85 to took 11
th place.
Pomykaj's strongest finish of the day came in the 100-meter dash as he crossed in a time of 11.28. He also had a pair of sixth place finishes in the shot put at 8.79 meters (28' 10 ¼") and the high jump at 1.76 meters (5' 9 ¼"). The final five events will take place on Thursday.
Nazareth's 4x400-meter relay of
Benjamin Lewis,
Jaylen Savage,
Jack Healy, and
Michael Puglisi finished in 7
th place at 3:18.39.
Cameron Almy was 14th in the 10,000 in a time of 33:02.58.
