Men’s Track & Field Takes 10th at All-Atlantic Regional Meet

WASHINGTON HEIGHTS, N.Y. (nazathletics.com) - The Nazareth Men's Track and Field team traveled to the NCAA All-Atlantic Regional Meet at The Nike Track & Field Center in the Armory, Saturday March 7. 

David Dobrowolski highlighted Golden Flyer action, bringing home another school record in the Weight Throw. The Golden Flyers ended the championship meet placing 10th out of a total of 63 teams. 


MEET NOTES 
  • David Dobrowolski finished third in the weight throw, crushing the school record once again with a throw of 18.59 meters (61'0" ft). Graeden Heichberger placed 7th throwing 17.84 meters (58'6"½ ft).
  • Aaron Lund raced to a personal best on the heptathlon 1000 meter race, crossing the line at 2:49.23 and placing fourth overall. 
  • Michael Puglisi placed 49th in the 400 meter dash, running a time of 49.81.
  • Jack Pomykaj placed second in the heptathlon pole vault, vaulting 4.30 meters (14'1"¼ ft).
  • Men's heptathlon final scores put Lund seventh overall with a score of 4469 and Pomykaj eighth with 4271 points. 
UP NEXT
Individuals who recorded NCAA Division III qualifying marks will travel to the NCAA Championship meet, March 13-14, in Birmingham, Alabama.
