Brockport, NY - Nazareth's women's track and field team finished day 2 of the Brockport Golden Eagle Invite and Multi with strong performances throughout on Saturday, highlighted by junior
Isabel Morse setting the school record in the pole vault.
Morse took third in the women's pole vault with a result of 3.70 meters (12' 1" ½). The previous record to beat was 3.67 meters. Morse is now ranked 12th Nationally in Division 3.
Sophomore
Kelsey Fahy took first place with a time of 10:45.04 in the women's 3000-meter event with a personal best time.
In the women's weight throw, senior
Lea Richard threw 16.82 meters (55' 2" ¼) to take the first place spot.
In the women's 60-meter event, sophomores
Jordan Wagner and
Jasmine Kendrick took second and third place. They clocked times of 8.297 and 8.298.
In the women's 200-meter event,
Alexis Lasher took third place with a time of 29.96 and
Alaina Morley took fifth place with 27.23.
Morley placed second with a mark of 5.36 meters (17' 7") in the women's long jump. Kendrick and
Katie Jacques took fifth and sixth place respectively with scores of 5.21 meters (17' 1" ¼) and 5.20 meters (17' 0" ¾) in the event.
Nazareth dominated in the women's triple jump. Jacques and junior
Sydney LaSalle took first and second place in the event with results of 11.09 meters (36' 4" ¼) and 10.99 meters (36' 0" ¾).
The women's 4x400 relay team took third in the event.
Abigail Bowman,
Ava Baker, Ella Imaglia, and
Bailey Visingard had a time of 4:17.28 in the event.
The Golden Flyers return to action on Friday February 14 at home for the Dlll Elite Meet.
