GREENWOOD, IN – Six Nazareth Student-Athletes representing five different teams have been selected as Academic All-District honorees from the College Sports Communicators (CSC) organization (formerly CoSIDA). The At-Large category encompassed the sports of Men's and Women's Hockey, Men's and Women's Lacrosse, Men's Volleyball, Men's and Women's Golf, Women's Rowing and Field Hockey.
The players representing Nazareth on the team included senior Emma States from women's lacrosse, junior Julia Holmes and senior Ally Watrous from women's hockey, junior Owen Wickens from men's volleyball, senior Henry McKinney from men's hockey and senior Seth Terzo from men's volleyball and men's golf.
To be considered for the honor, the student-athlete must have been a key contributor to the success of the team as well as maintain at least a 3.50 grade point average and have completed at least one year of school.
Terzo and Wickens were each All-Region selections for volleyball by the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA), McKinney was named All-American by the American Hockey Coaches Association (AHCA), States was an All-Region selection by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA), Holmes was the first Nazareth women's hockey player to earn All-America honors and Watrous was an All-conference selection by the United Collegiate Hockey Conference (UCHC).
