Nazareth College Athletics

Biology and Adolescent Education major... daughter of Dave and Janice Watrous, Whitesboro, N.Y... returning for her third season with the Golden Flyers, Watrous appeared in 28 games and led the team with 23 goals ... finished fourth on the team with 26 points and had four game-winning goals ... Honorable Mention All-UCHC selection ... tied a school record with four goals in a game as she led Nazareth to a 16-1 win over King's (2/5).

2021-21: Watrous played in all 10 games for the Golden Flyers in the pandemic-shortened 2021 season...contributed three goals and three assists... also had five minor penalties for 10 minutes... first goal came at Chatham on 3/5/21... also scored against Stevenson on 3/12/21 and at Utica on 4/1/21... named to the United Collegiate Hockey Conference's All-Academic team for players with a GPA of 3.20 and higher and to the All-American Scholars list (3.60 GPA and higher) by the American Hockey Coaches Association.

2019-20: a transfer to Nazareth from Division I Quinnipiac University in Connecticut, Watrous played in 29 games there in 2019-20 and contributed two assists... both points came in a 5-0 win over Sacred Heart on 10/26/19.

Scholastic: a 2019 graduate of Northfield Mount Hermon in Massachusetts, Watrous played hockey, softball and soccer there... played for the Niagara Junior Purple Eagles club team and served as assistant captain for 2018-19... helped team to NYS titles in 2014, 2017 and 2018... selected to attend USA Hockey U15 and U18 select player development camps in St. Cloud, Minn... recipient of Bob Allen NYS Hockey Association scholarship.
