COMPLETE RESULTS
CHILI, NY – Junior Brenna Johnson earned qualifying marks for the NCAA Regional meet in both the 400-meter race and the long jump while senior Abbey Szumloz was a qualifier in the 400-meter hurdles and junior Gabrielle Pighetti earned her spot in the shot put as the Nazareth College Women's Track and Field team completed the regular season at the last chance meet at Roberts Wesleyan College.
Szumloz clocked a personal best 1:06.47 as she placed sixth in the hurdles race while Johnson raced to a 59.17 personal best in the 400 as she took sixth overall.
Pighetti uncorked an 11.21 meter (36' 9 ½") toss to place eighth and teammate freshman Lea Richard took 14th with a 10.29 (33' 9 ¼") heave. The duo also placed well in the hammer throw as Richard was 13th with a 41.07 (134' 9") throw and Pighetti was 17th with her 38.85 (124' 10") effort.
Johnson was also seventh in the long jump with a 5.24-meter (17' 2 ¼") leap.
Sophomore Emily Weaver had a personal best in the 5K with a 19:10.84 and junior Hayley Cronin had her career-best with a 5:05.88 in the 1500-meter race.
Senior
Elizabeth Decker led a group of four Nazareth finishers in the 800 as she placed 14th in 2:21.15. Freshman
Paige Ackley was 19th, junior
Claire Bargabos was 20th and sophomore
Alexis Anagnostopulos was 23rd for the Golden Flyers.
