Nazareth College Athletics

Daughter of Ron and Sarah Ackley, Waverly, N.Y... returning for her fifthtrack and field season, Ackley competed frequently for the Golden Flyers in 2024... Ackley PR'd in the mile with a time of 5:39.86 at the Bomber Invitational in February... At the E8 Indoor Championships, Ackely helped Nazareth to a championship title with a 7th place finish in the 800 with a time of 2:26.99, and a 2nd place finish in the Distance Medley Relay with a combined time of 13:05.54... in the spring season, Ackley earned a PR in the 1500 with a time of 5:07.98 at the UofR Alumni Invitational, as well as a PR in the 800 with a time of 2:22.42 at the Farley Inter Regional Extravaganza (11th place)... Ackley helped Nazareth to another E8 title in the spring season with a 5th place finish in the 800 (2:24.20), and a 2nd place finish in the 4x800 (9:50.97)... Empire 8 Second-Team honoree for 4x800 relay... Empire 8 Second-Team Indoor honoree for distance medley relay.

2022-23: Ackley competed for the Golden Flyers' indoor and outdoor track and field teams and helped Nazareth capture first-ever Empire 8 titles in both... ran on the winning 4 x 800-meter relay (10:02.29) during the outdoor season, which included a personal-best time in the 1,500-meter run (5:13.31)... indoor season featured a third-place finish in the Distance Medley Relay (13:15.43)... represented the Golden Flyers on the Academic All-District team (3.50 GPA or better) by the College Sports Communicators... also a fixture on the Empire 8 Presidents' List (3.75 GPA or better)... Ackley competed for the Golden Flyers' cross country team in the fall of 2023 and helped the team capture its first-ever Empire 8 title... earned second-team all-conference honors after placing 13th at the E8 meet at Parkview Fairways in Victor with a personal-best 6-kilometer time of 23:02.0... helped Nazareth to an eighth-place finish at the NCAA Division III Niagara Regional at Houghton by finishing in 57th place (23:13.7)

2021-22: Ackley ran on the 4 x 800-meter relay team that captured the E8 outdoor title in 2022 (9:56.11) to earn first-team all-conference... also finished ninth in the 800-meter run outdoors (2:33.78) and 10th indoors (2:30.68)... part of distance medley relay team that finished third at Empire Indoor Championships (13:33.82), good for third-team all-conference... competed for cross country team in 2022, running 24:10.5 over 6K at the Lehigh Paul Short Run... placed 16th at the Empire 8 Championships with a time of 24:21.5 over 6K.   

2020-21: Ackley competed for the Golden Flyers' indoor and outdoor teams in the spring of 2021 and times included a personal-best of 2:26.94 for 800 meters and 1:06.83 for 400 meters... represented the Golden Flyers on the E8 Presidents' List for student-athletes with GPAs of 3.75 and above... competed for the Golden Flyers cross country team in the fall of 2021 and finished 32nd at the Empire 8 cross country championships with time of 25:23.9 for 6 kilometers... helped the Golden Flyers to a second-place finish at the Empire 8 Conference meet in the spring of 2021 by placing 15th at Houghton... 5-kilometer time of 20:34.6 was good for second-team all-conference... also finished 10th at St. John Fisher's Rodenbeck Invitational on 3/26/21 with a time of 17:02.0 for 4 kilometers.

Scholastic: a graduate of Waverly High School, Ackley competed there in cross country as well as indoor and outdoor track... placed 16th in Section Four Class C championships in 2019... ranked eighth in graduating class and was a member of the National Honor Society... recipient of NUCOR Foundation Scholarship.
