Nazareth College Athletics

Nursing major... daughter of William and Linda Anagnostopulos, Altamont, N.Y... returning for her fourth track and field season, Anagnostopulos finished third at the Empire 8 Outdoor Track and Field Championships in the 3,000-meter steeplechase (12:46.97) to earn third-team all-conference... also was pat of the distance medley relay at the Empire 8 Indoor Championships that earned third-team all-conference with a third place finish (13:33.82)... ran a college-best 5:47.62 in the mile at the Brockport Meet on 1/22/22... season-best of 2:34.45 (800)... competed for the Golden in cross country in 2022, clocking a career-best 16.38.8 over 4k at the Hamilton Short Course and a 24:23.6 over 6k at the Lehigh Paul Short Run... Nazareth's cross country representative on the Sportswoman of the Year team. 

2020-21: Anagnostopulos competed for the Golden Flyers' indoor and outdoor teams in 2021 and top times included 12:25.88 in the 3,000-meter steeplechase, 2:30.23 in the 800-meter run and 1:09.23 in the 400... represented the Golden Flyers on the E8 Presidents' List for student-athletes with GPAs of 3.75 and above... completed her third cross country season in the fall of 2021 and placed 34th at the Empire 8 Conference meet with a 6-kilometer time of 25:50.0 as Nazareth finished second in the team standings... also finished 84th at the NCAA Niagara Regional race at Geneseo (26:18)... top 6k time was 25:49.1 at the Paul Short Run at Lehigh on 10/1/21... Anagnostopulos ran in both cross country races in the spring of 2021 and finished 26th at the Empire 8 Conference meet at Houghton on 4/9/21 with a 5k time of 22:03.9... also placed 15th at St. John Fisher's Rodenbeck Invitational (17:28.5 for 4 kilometers).

2019-20: Anagnostopulos competed for the Golden Flyers during the indoor season in 2020 and posted top times of 2:33.26 for 800 meters and 3:19.89 for 1,000 meters... was a member of the distance medley relay team that finished third at the Empire 8 Conference meet in February... also recorded a first-place finish in the 1,000-meter run at the RIT Invitational on 2/14/20... Anagnostopulos competed regularly for the Golden Flyers' cross country team in 2019 and finished 34th at the Empire 8 Conference at St. John Fisher on 11/2/19 with a 6-kilometer time of 26:29.3... best 6k time of 25:50.5 came at Houghton's Highlander Invitational on 10/5/19.

Scholastic: a graduate of Guilderland High School, Anagnostopulos competed in cross country and track there... competed in the steeplechase as well as the 400-, 800- and 3,000-meter runs in track... recipient of scholar-athlete award as well as 100 Percent Award and Coaches Award.
