Nazareth defeats Brockport, 133-81

ROCHESTER, NY - Nazareth women's swimming & diving improves to 3-0 with a 133-81 win over visiting Brockport College Friday night.  Nazareth's Carissa Risucci, Holly Gilligan, and Megan Wade finished first, second, and third respectively in the 100m breast stroke.  Risucci's time was 1:17.46.  Brockport edged the men, 115-109.

The Golden Flyer women had several different first place finishers in tonight's meet including Rachel House who won the 200m free in 2:20.59, Rachael Phipps in the 50m free (:27.97), McKenna Murphy was first in the 200m IM (2:38.66), Jaclyn Conklin in the 100m butterfly (1:09.75), Maura Reissig in the 100m freestyle (1:04.64), and Rachel Hayes in the 400m free (4:57.34). 

Nazareth also teamed up to finish first in the 400m medley and 400m free relays. 

In the men's meet, it came down to the last event before Brockport was able to secure the win.  Jacob Kline finished first in the 50m free (:25.40) and the 100m backstroke (1:03.94).  Justin Sawran won the 200m IM (2:25.89) and the 400m free (4:31.58).  Other first place finishers for Nazareth included Bryan Geary in the 100m butterfly (1:06.02) and Michael Bidwell in the 100m breast stroke (1:12.68).  The men also placed first in the 400m medley relay.

Nazareth travels to Hartwick tomorrow for a 1 p.m. meet.
