Buckingham & Heichberger Break School Records at Conference Tune-Up Meet

ROCHESTER, N.Y. The Nazareth Track and Field team hosted the Conference Tune-Up on Friday night with the Golden Flyers setting two new school records in Dylan Buckingham and Graeden Heichberger.

How It Happened:

Buckingham broke the school record in pole vault jumping at the height of 4.47 meters (14' 8") crunching his previous personal record of 4.45 meter (14' 7 ¼").
Heichberger finished 2nd place in the men's shot put throwing 16.42 meters (53' 10 ½") breaking his previous end owned school record once again.
Cameron Almy had a 1st place finish in the 5k crossing the line with a time of 15:49.73.
In the final round of the 60-meter hurdles Aaron Lund ran a time of 8.54 crossing the line finishing 2nd overall.
The Golden Flyers 4x400 team including Nicholas Driver, Griffin Killian, Kaedan Leonidas and Jack Healy took first place with a time of 3:30.71.
In the open 200-meter race Driver raced to 1st place with a time of 22.95.

What's Next:

Next the Golden Flyers will host the Empire 8 championship meet on Friday, February 27 at 3 p.m. and Saturday starting at 10 a.m.
