Final Results
WEBSTER, NY - On day two of competition in the E8 Championship meet, grad student
Ryan Hough took home the title in the 200-yard freestyle race with a personal best time of 1:42.22 to earn Nazareth 20 points and break his own school record. After the second day of competition, Nazareth has dropped to fifth place with rankings and points as follows:

Joining Hough in the 200 free were teammates
Gianluca Antonini and
Lincoln Garwood with 11th and 15th place respective finishes. Both Antonini and Garwood earned personal best times of 1:49.13 and 1:53.02.
William Danaher was the only Golden Flyer in the A final for the 100 yard butterfly. Danaher placed 7th overall with a time of 54.19 to earn Nazareth 12 points.
Jackson Gerbes and
Adam DelGrand swam in the B final and earned 10th and 11th place finishes with respective personal best times of 53.76 and 53.79.
Cameron Matousek represented Nazareth in the 400-yard individual medley with a time of 5:02.64 for a 9th place finish overall.
To cap off the night, Nazareth placed 4th in the 200-yard freestyle relay with a team of DelGrand,
Sam Romanosky, Danaher, and Hough with a time of 1:27.60. Garwood,
Solomon Panayil,
Aidan Wilken, and
Alexander Baxter swam in the B final and placed 13th.
The action continues Friday at 10 am for prelims and 5:30 pm for finals.
