Nazareth College Athletics

Finance minor... son of John and Jennifer DelGrand, Geneseo, N.Y... returning for his fourth season after competing regularly in the 2023-24 season... at the Allegheny / Empire 8 Conference Championships, DelGrand placed in three individual events, including 11th in the 200 yard IM (2:07.87), 8th in the 100 yard fly (54.96), and 5th in the 200 yard fly (2:06.25)... was also a part of the 800, 400, and 200 yard free relay events, where Nazareth placed 2nd, 2nd, and 1st respectively... was also named to the President's List for Academic Excellence in both the fall 2023 and spring 2024 semesters

2022-23: DelGrand swam regularly for the Golden Flyers in 2022-23 and had personal-best times in the 200 IM (2:07.98) and the 100 butterfly (:54.44)... finished 10th in the 100 fly at the Allegheny/Empire 8 Conference meet and 14th in the 200 fly (2:05.45)... swam on three finalist relays -- the 200 medley relay (sixth, 1:38.89); the 400 medley relay (fourth, 3:35.07) and the 400 free relay (fourth, 3:11.60)... recipient of the team's Purple and Gold Award for exceptional team spirit and enthusiasm... named to the Empire 8 President's List for student-athletes with GPAs of 3.75 and above.

2021-22: DelGrand specialized in the butterfly, IM and freestyle events ... won the B Final in the 200 fly at the Empire 8 Championships ... also competed in the 100 fly, 200 free relay and 400 medley relay at the championships.

Scholastic: a graduate of Livonia High School, DelGrand competed in swimming, cross country and track and field... competed in the IM and butterfly races in swimming and helped team to Livingston County Athletic Association title as well as Section Five Class C title in 2021... earned LCAA all-star honors and honorable mention All-Greater Rochester recognition from the Democrat and Chronicle... also helped Livonia to sectional team titles in 2018 and 2020 and swam on 200 medley relay team that captured sectional championship... also competed for Mercury Swimming Club.
