Rochester, NY - The Nazareth men's track and field team competed in the first day of the Dlll Elite Meet at the Golisano Training Center on Friday night, with the distance medley relay team of Ethan Kenyon, Benjamin Lewis, Cole Hastings, and Cade Eells setting the school record and taking first place with a time 10:23.45. The previous school record was set in 2023 (10:24.86).

Sophomore David Dobrowolski threw 16.85 meters (55' 3" ½) to take fourth place in the weight throw. Freshman Graeden Heichberger took 6th place and threw 16.57 meters (54' 4" ½).

In the long jump, junior Adam Reifsteck took 12th place with a result of 6.47 meters (21' 2" ¾). 

In pole vault, freshman Will D'Agata vaulted 4.33 meters (14' 2" ½) to take 6th place. 

The Golden Flyers return to action Saturday, February 14 to complete the second day of the Dlll Elite Meet.
