Results
Brockport, NY - The Nazareth University Women's Track and Field team competed in their first meet of the New Year in the Brockport Invitational on Friday.
Alaina Morley received first place and had a regional qualifying time of 7.94 in the women's 60-meter event.
Along with Morley's first place win,
Lea Richard pulled through with a win in women's weight throw with a result of 16.55 meters.
In the women's 4x400,
Ella Impaglia,
Paige Ackley,
Bailey Visingard, and
Ava Baker took third with a time of 4:35.65.
Sophomores
Lauren Bendall and
Meya McKown competed and placed in the women's 60-meter hurdles. Bendall racked up a third place finish with a time of 10.066 and McKown placed fourth with a time of 10.07.
In the women's 500-meter event, Baker received third place with a time of 1:27.34.
Impaglia competed in the women's mile and took a fourth place finish with a time of 5:25.47.
Junior
Sydney LaSalle and freshman
Madyson Bush each placed in the women's triple jump. LaSalle took second with a result of 10.73 meters while Bush racked up a fourth place finish with a result of 10.22 meters.
Sophomore
Morgan Pospiech competed in the women's 3000-meter event with a time of 11:40.30 to secure a fourth place finish.
In the women's long jump, Morley took third place, finishing with a result of 5.30 meters.
The Golden Flyers return to action on Saturday, January 25 at the Golisano Training Center for Nazareth's Challenge Cup.
