REXFORD, NY – Sophomore Kara Kopyt shot a +36 to move into 35th place as she led the Nazareth University Women's Golf team at the Northeast Women's Golf Conference (NWGC) Championship at the Edison Club.

Kopyt is one of the three golfers from Nazareth competing in the tournament.

Freshman Sabrina Schultz is in 47th place as she finished the first round with a +54 and graduate student Marina Monzon is one shot back at +55 in a tie for 48th place in the tournament.
