HILTON, NY (nazathletics.com) - Nazareth Women's Golf sophomore Bethany Wineburg earned Empire 8 Co-Golfer of the Week honord following her performance at the 2026 Northeast Women's Golf Conference Championship, held April 19-20 at Van Patten Golf Club.

Wineburg finished tied for second overall and tied for first among Empire 8 competitors, posting a two-day score of 163 (plus-19) to lead Nazareth to a fourth-place team finish.

She opened the tournament with an 83 on Sunday before carding an 80 in Monday's final round. Her final round was highlighted by a birdie on the par-3 17th hole.

The honor marks Wineburg's third Empire 8 weekly award of the 2025-26 season.
