RIT results | Staten Island results
The Nazareth College Women's Track and Field team had a pair of top five finishes at the RIT Invitational while junior Emily Weaver and senior Brenna Johnson each posted third place finishes at the Fast Track Invitational on Staten Island.
AT RIT, graduate student Anna Ahlquist was 4th in the pole vault with a height of 3.50 meters (11' 5 ¾") while the 4x400 relay with junior Alexis Anagnostopulos, sophomore Paige Ackley, freshman Ruth DeSanctis and sophomore Leigha Gould placed third in the relay with a time of 4:35.30.
On Staten Island, Johnson placed 3rd in the long jump with a 5.58 meter leap and Weaver set a career-best time in the 5K as she placed third in 18:29.73.
Weaver was joined in the distance race by junior Megan Morin (7th place in 18:53.40) and sophomore Lilianna Hanning (12th place in 19:25.53).
Graduate student Abbey Szumloz was 8th in the 60-meter hurdles as she finished in 9.98 seconds and fellow graduate student Elizabeth Decker was 9th in the 800 meter race with a time of 2:19.79.
Sophomore Lea Richard took 12th place in the weight throw with a 15.09 toss.
The Golden Flyers will host the Conference Tune-up meet next weekend at the Golisano Training Center.
