ROCHESTER, NY – The classroom accolades rolled in for both the men's and women's track and field teams being tabbed All-Academic Teams by U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA). In order to qualify, teams most hold a cumulative GPA of over 3.1. On the men's side, Nazareth held a 3.35, while the women had a 3.54.
In addition, 13 athletes earned USTFCCCA All-Academic honors. For the men,
Michael Puglisi,
Graeden Heichberger,
Gavin McAllister,
Jack Pomykaj,
David Dobrowolski, and
Jack Healy earned recognition.
Kiara Tornusciolo,
Isabel Morse,
Samantha Luba,
Ella Impaglia,
Alaina Morley,
Rosie Morse, and
Jasmine Kendrick were honored.
In order to qualify for USTFCCCA All-Academic honors, a student-athlete must have compiled at least a 3.30 cumulative grade-point average and have competed in an NCAA Indoor or Outdoor Championship, or finished the regular season ranked in the top-50 nationally in an individual event or in the top-35 in a relay event.
