HILTON, N.Y. (nazathletics.com) - Nazareth Men's Volleyball swept the first United Volleyball Conference (UVC) weekly awards of the season, the conference announced Monday afternoon.
Tristan Henderson picked up Player of the Week honors while
Quintin Chiles earned a Rookie of the Week nod.
Henderson recorded 28 kills at a .466 hitting percentage in three matches for the Golden Flyers. The junior right side registered a team-best 11 kills in both matches against Rivier and Lasell while hitting .625 over the Raiders and .500 against the Lasers. He added two blocks and two digs on the weekend.
Chiles tallied eight kills and five digs in his first appearances for the Golden Flyers last weekend. The freshman totaled five kills at a .231 clip with two digs in the team's 3-0 win over Rivier on Saturday.
