Lea Richard was the highest finisher for the women's track and field squad on Thursday at the at the All-Atlantic Regional Track and Field Meet at Williams College, finishing in second place in the hammer throw. Richard had a toss of 51.97 meters (170' 6"). As a team, the women finished in ninth place with 38 points.
In the 4x100 final,
Alexis Lasher,
Alaina Morley,
Jasmine Kendrick and
Samantha Luba finished sixth in 48.25 to finish in fifth place.
Luba set personal bests in both the 100 and 400 hurdles. She clocked a 14.81 in the 100 hurdles to take seventh place, while she notched a 1:05.62 in the 400 hurdles to take 13
th.
Lauren Bendall took 17
th place in the 400 hurdles in a time of 1:06.53.
Junior
Sydney LaSalle set a personal best in the triple jump with a mark of 11.48 meters (37' 8") to take fifth.
Katie Jacques was not far behind, jumping 11.34 meters (37' 2 ½"), good for seventh place.
Freshman
Abigail Bowman was 26
th in the 800 in a time of 2:22.71.
