ROCHESTER, N.Y. - Isabel Morse has been named Empire 8's Athlete of the Week for women's field after a first place finish at the AARTFC Championship meet.

On day one of the AARTFC Championship meet on Wednesday, Morse smashed her own school record in pole vault with a height of 3.89 meters to take the title. Morse's vault ranks her at 15th in the nation and Morse has qualified for the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championship, as announced on Friday.

The NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championship meet will be held on May 22nd-24th at the Spire Institute in Geneva, Ohio. Women's pole vault will take place on the 22nd, scheduled to start at 12:30 p.m.
