PITTSFORD, N.Y. – Nazareth's women's track and field team traveled down East Avenue for the St. John Fisher Cardinal Classic on Saturday. In the javelin, Abbey Conquest improved on the Golden Flyers' Top-10 list. Conquest placed fourth with a mark of 34.18 meters (112' 2") to better her previous school-best of 33.22 meters (108' 11 ¾") from April 18th, 2025. Alaina Morley also competed in the javelin throw and had a mark of 26.36 meters (86' 6") to place 16th.
On the track, several runners improved on Top-10 times. In the 1,500 meters, Ella Impaglia improved on her previous best of 4:52.19 from April 2024, which ranked fourth, to 4:50.60, which now ranks third. Impaglia placed seventh in the event. Impaglia was joined in the event by Kelsey Fahy in 26th (5:04.00), Bailey Visingard in 27th (5:04.40), Kennedy Doran in 38th (5:10.21), Emily Miller in 68th (5:30.65), and Emily Perham in 71st (5:32.87).
In the 400-meter hurdles, Lauren Bendall improved on her May 2024 time of 1:07.45 with an 11th-place time of 1:07.43 to rank fourth on Nazareth's Top-10 list. Meya McKown, Kaitlyn Burt, and Jenna Hostetler also competed in the hurdle event. McKown was 23rd with a time of 1:12.81, Burt was 28th with a time of 1:13.69, and Hostetler was 30th with a time of 1:14.87.
In the 100-meter hurdles, McKown led the Golden Flyers with a 12th-place finish (16.70 seconds). Jasmine Ayre was 18th (17.54 seconds), Bendall was 20th (17.60 seconds), Hostetler was 22nd (17.94 seconds), and Burt was 27th (18.23 seconds).
Alexis Lasher was Nazareth's top performer in the 100-meter sprint after crossing the line with a time of 12.86 seconds. Jasmine Kendrick placed 17th with a time of 13.01 seconds, Sydney LaSalle was 28th with a time of 13.31 seconds, and Jordan Wagner was 35th with a time of 13.44 seconds.
In the 200-meter sprint, Samantha Luba placed ninth with a time of 26.49 seconds, which ranks seventh on Nazareth's Top-10 list. Luba's previous best was 28.03 seconds at Brockport in April 2024. In the 400-meter event, Ava Baker (1:02.51) and Abigail Bowman (1:02.60) placed 15th and 16th, respectively.
Also, Alia Graziadei finished 13th in the 3,000-meter steeplechase with a time of 13:12.11. In the 800-meter event, Paige Ackley was 41st with a time of 2:32.85, followed by Graziadei in 63rd with a time of 2:42.62.
In the 5,000-meter run, Morgan Pospiech was 30th with a time of 20:23.52, and Nadia Dudley was 42nd with a time of 21:15.14.
In field events, Emily Rolince improves to fifth all-time in the hammer throw after reaching 39.18 meters (128' 6"), which placed 21st. Her previous best was 37.84 meters (124' 2"), which she had this past April.
Rolince placed 31st in the discus throw (29.92 m, 98' 2"), and Lea Richard was 38th (27.87 m, 91' 5"). In the shot put, Rolince was 23rd with a throw of 10.11 meters (33' 2"), followed by Richard in 34th with a throw of 9.42 meters (30' 11").
Morley led four Golden Flyers in the long jump after she was 13th with a mark of 5.29 meters (17' 4 ¼"). Luba was next with a 14th-place performance, reaching 5.25 meters (17 2 ¾"). Luba was followed by Katie Jacques in 16th with a mark of 5.23 meters (17' 2"), and LaSalle was 23rd with a mark of 5.12 meters (16' 9 ¾").
Bendall was Nazareth's finisher in the high jump. She placed 13th with a height of 1.44 meters (4' 8 ¾").
The Golden Flyers are in action again next weekend when Nazareth competes at the Empire 8 Outdoor Championships May 2nd-3rd at Brockport.
