LEBANON, PA – As it started the day, the Nazareth men's golf team remains in second place after the third round of the Empire 8 Championships on Friday at Lebanon Country Club. Friday marked the third round of the championships after rounds 1 and 2 took place in the fall. Nazareth came into the day trailing St. John Fisher by 25 strokes and is now 33 behind. The standings are as follows after three rounds:

Lincoln Crosby delivered a strong round, shooting an even par 72 behind three birdies, three bogies and the rest pars. His 72 was the second-best score of the day behind Nick Tellone of Fisher who shot a 71 (-1). Overall, Tellone and Crosby are tied after 3 rounds for first place at 227 (+11).
Vincent Falgiatano fired the third-best round of the day, a 76 (+4). His lone birdie came on the par-5 7
th, playing 493 yards.
Colin Rider was the next finisher for Nazareth, shooting an 82 (+2) which put him tied for 15
th on the day.
Nazareth's last scorer was
Anthony Falgiatano who carded an 84 (+12) to tie for 18
th place. Anthony and Vincent are tied for 8
th overall individually at 240 (+24).
Charlie Calcagni is 10
th at 242 (+26).
