Ithaca, NY- In day 2 of the All-Atlantic Regional Track and Field Meet, the men's track and field team had a successful day pulling their team to 17th place out of 37 scoring teams.
Cade Eells had an impressive third place finish in the men's mile as well.
Junior
Jack Pomykaj took 5th in the heptathlon with a total of 4470 points. Pomykaj finished day 1 in 10th place with 2386 points. In the 1000-meter event he took 7th place with a time of 3:00.61. He took 5th place in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 9.10 and earned 724 points to his total. The final event he competed in was the pole vault. He took 4th place with a result of 4.30 meters (14' 1" ¼) to add his final set of points, 702, to the total.
In the men's triple jump, junior
Adam Reifsteck took 14th place. He jumped 13.63 meters (44' 8" ¾).
Eells took an impressive 3rd place finish in the men's mile. He completed the mile in 4:16.21. Senior
Ethan Kenyon also competed and took 7th place with a time of 4:21.11, respectfully.
In men's weight throw,
David Dobrowolski and
Graeden Heichberger took 11th and 13th place. Dobrowolski threw 15.84 meters (51' 11" ¾) and Heichberger threw 15.72 meters (51' 7").
