Rochester, NY - The Nazareth women's track and field team completed the final day of the Dlll Elite Meet at the Golisano Training Center on Saturday. After strong performances on Friday, the Golden Flyers finished the meet with PRs for junior
Samantha Luba, sophomore
Kelsey Fahy and freshman
Madyson Bush.
In the women's 400-meter event Luba had a PR time of 1:01.86 to take 11th place. She also competed in the women's 60-meter hurdles and had a time of 9.45 to grab second place.
Fahy had a PR time of 5:18.35 to secure 7th place in the women's mile, the third fastest time in school history.
In the triple jump senior
Katie Jacques took 5th place and had a result of 10.79 meters (35' 4" ¾). Bush had a PR of 10.69 meters (35' 1") to take 7th place and junior
Sydney LaSalle finished right behind her in 8th place at 10.67 meters (35' 0" ¼).
LaSalle also competed in the high jump and took 4th place with 1.53 meters (5' 0"¼) meters as her highest jump.
Junior
Alexis Lasher competed in the women's 60-meter event and received 3rd place with a time of 8.14. She took 14th place in the women's 200-meter event as well, with a time of 27.00.
The Golden Flyers return to action on Friday, February 21 for the Conference Tune-Up at the Golisano Training Center.
