Ithaca, NY - The Nazareth men's track and field team competed in Ithaca on Saturday at the Ithaca College Bomber Invite.
Sophomore
David Dobrowolski secured a third place finish and thew 16.36 meters (53' 8 ¼") in men's weight throw. Freshman
Graeden Heichberger also placed in men's weight throw. He took 8th place out of forty and threw a 15.33 meters (50' 3 ½").
In the men's 200-meter race, senior
Benjamin Lewis took 18th place out of 85 with a time of 23.21.
In the men's mile race, senior
Ethan Kenyon placed 14th and junior
Cameron Almy took 18th out of 66. Kenyon had a time of 4:27.55 and Almy had 4:34.52.
Heichberger threw 14.32 meters (46' 11 ¾") and placed fifth out of 36 in the men's shot put event.
Junior
Jack Pomykaj jumped 6.32 meters (20' 9") in the men's long jump and took 10th place out of 40.
Freshman
Nolan Armitage and
Nathan Sinclair placed 9th and 11th out of 18 in the men's pole vault with scores of 4.15 meters (13' 7 ¼") and 4.00 meters (13' 1 ½").
The Golden Flyers return to action on Friday February 7, in Brockport, NY for the
Brockport Golden Eagle Invite & Multi.
