BROCKPORT, NY – Nazareth's women's tennis team downed Brockport 7-2 on Friday in the first matchup as Empire 8 foes.
 
Nazareth improves to 3-3 overall and 2-1 in Empire 8 play, while Brockport drops to 0-6 and 0-4, respectively.
 
Nazareth took two of three doubles matches. Catherine Zak and Kenna Ellis cruised to an 8-0 at first doubles. Sarah Stone and Ali Klee won their second doubles match 8-4.
 
Zak successfully won first singles 6-3, 6-2, while double partner Ellis won second singles 6-4, 6-3.
 
Sarah Stone took the opening set at third singles 7-6 (7-5), before taking the second set 6-4.
 
Ali Klee didn't drop a game at fourth singles, while Isabella Iannitti won in three sets at sixth singles, 6-3, 4-6, 1-0 (10-8).
 
Nazareth hosts Harwtick at 1 p.m. on Sunday.
