ROCHESTER, N.Y. (nazathletics.com) - Nazareth Women's Tennis (6-4, 4-3) took down St. John Fisher (5-3, 5-2), 5-2, Wednesday night at the Annette Shapiro Tennis Courts. 

HOW IT HAPPENED 

• Nazareth swept all three doubles matches to earn the doubles decision and lead 1-0 
• Catherine Zak, Kenna Ellis, Victoria Cioni and Paige Masrouri registered singles victories to clinch a 5-2 Empire 8 win 
• Zak posted a double bagel victory at first singles over the Cardinals' Lilly Renzi
• Cioni notched a three-set win in the fourth slot, taking the first set 6-1 and dropping the second 4-6 before claiming the third in a tiebreak 7-6 (5) 

UP NEXT 
Nazareth hosts its final regular season match against Houghton, Saturday, Oct. 11. First serve is slated for 1 p.m. at the Annette Shapiro Tennis Courts.
