Anthony Falgiatano carded a 75 (+3) during the first round of the St. John Fisher Invitational on Sunday at Eagle Vale as the Golden Flyers sit in a tie for second place as a team. The final round of the invitational will take place on Monday.
St. John Fisher leads the way with a team total of 300 (+12), followed by Nazareth and Hobart's 309 (+21), and Oswego at 322 (+34).
Anthony Falgiatano birdied back-to-back par-4s on the 7
th and 8
th holes to go out in a 37, before closing on the back nine with a 38.
Thomas McIntosh is in solo 10
th place after shooting a 77 (+5). Just one stroke behind was
Vincent Falgiatano with a 78 (+6).
The final scorer for Nazareth was
Lincoln Crosby who shot a 79 (+7).
Freshman
Charlie Calcagni also competed for the Golden Flyers, shooting an 82 (+10), good for 21
st place.
