WILLIAMSTOWN, MA – Senior
Lauren Bendall set a PR in the 400-hurdles and
Lea Richard took second in the hammer throw to highlight day two of the of the Williams College Farley Inter-Regional on Saturday.
Bendall's PR in the 400-hurdles was 1:07.45 to earn sixth place. Freshman
Mallory Rice also had a personal best with a 1:08.87 to take ninth place, while
Samantha Luba was 12
th (1:11.53).
Richard took second in the hammer throw with a heave of 49.22 meters (161' 6"), which she hit on her last attempt.
Hannah Ragule,
Jasmine Kendrick and
Alaina Morley each only took three jumps in the long jump and finished in 12-14
th place. Ragule jumped 5.05 meters (16' 6 ¾"), Kendrick was 4.97 meters (16' 3 ¾") and Morley was 4.95 meters (16' 3").
Ragule and
Sydney LaSalle went 8, 9 in the triple jump. Ragule's mark was 11.13 meters (36' 6 ¼") and LaSalle's was 11.06 meters (36' 3 ½").
Luba was sixth in the 100-meter hurdles in a time of 15.75.
Paige Ackley (2:22.42) and
Kelsey Fahy (2:26.51) placed 11
th and 15
th respectively in the 800.
Next up will be the All-Atlantic Regional hosted at Cortland on Wednesday and Thursday.
