All-Conference Teams

Rochester, NY – On Tuesday, the Empire 8 announced Men's Cross Country All-Conference Awards and Nazareth's Cade Eells was named to the Second Team. In addition, Joseph Cataldo was Nazareth's representative on the 2024 Men's Cross Country Sportsmen of the Year Team.
 
The Empire 8 first, second and third team all-conference selections were determined at the championship meet on Nov. 2 from Field of Dreams Park, hosted by Houghton University. 
 
Eells earned second team after placing 15^th at the Empire 8 Championships. Eells ran a season-best 8k time of 25:16.5. 
 
One member of each team was named that institution's representative on the 2024 Men's Cross Country Sportsman of the Year Team. The Empire 8 Conference emphasizes that "Competing with Honor and Integrity" is an essential component of a student-athlete's experience in conjunction with an institution's educational mission. Cataldo and the other honorees have distinguished themselves and consistently exhibit the critical traits as outstanding sportsmen.
