BROCKPORT, NY– Seniors
Alexa Rizzo and
Elizabeth Tripp secured first place finishes in the 1-meter and 3-meter board, respectively, as Nazareth competed against Brockport and Geneseo in a double dual meet on Saturday afternoon. Nazareth was victorious versus Brockport 168-132, but fell to Geneseo 192-99.
Rizzo took first place in the 1-meter board with 267.80 points, followed byTripp racking up 240.80 points for second place. Tripp notched first in the 3-meter board with 272.60 points. Rizzo followed in third place in the same event with 221.95 points.

Isabella Jaskowski,
Julie Filipski,
Grace Cioffi, and junior
Amy Barry were the runner-ups in the 200-yard medley relay to start the day with a 1:57.50 finish. Barry, Filipski,
Ellen Burroughs, and
Caroline Coleman also finished second in the 200-yard freestyle relay (1:45.10) to round out the day.
Filipski notched a second place spot in the 200-yard breaststroke and finished third place in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:12.88), along with her second place finishes in the freestyle and medley relays.
In the 1000-yard freestyle, senior
Sydney Federico (11:47.93) placed third, while junior
Caroline Coleman followed in fourth place (11:49.83). Coleman (5:42.01) finished fourth in the 500-yard freestyle as well.
Freshman Burroughs (2:08.39) and Ally Putham (2:08.66) finished in a close third and fourth place in the 200-yard freestyle event, respectively. Burroughs (57.81) also placed fourth in the 100-yard freestyle.
A pair of fourth place finishes by sophomore
Peyton Buell (200-yard IM, 2:24.00) and senior
Isabella Jaskowski (200-yard backstroke, 2:21.67) were also recorded at the meet.
Cioffi (2:28.00) reigned in a fourth place finish in the 200-yard butterfly event.
The Golden Flyers return to action at home November 10 versus the University of Rochester at 5 p.m.
