Nazareth College Athletics

Math Education major... daughter of Tim and Kim Federico, Rochester, N.Y... returning for her fourth season, Federico swam regularly for the Golden Flyers in 2022-23... finished eighth in the 1,650 freestyle (19:05.52) at the Allegheny/Empire 8 Conference meet at Webster Aquatic Center... also swam 14th in the 500 freestyle (5:34.19) and 16th in the 200 free (2:09.61)... recipient of team's Golden Flyer Award as the Most Improved Swimmer.

2021-22: Federico swam regularly for the Golden Flyers and posted a personal-best time of 5:33.79 in the 500 freestyle to finish in 11th place at the Allegheny/Empire 8 Conference meet.

2020-21: Federico was among the Golden Flyers' top first-year performers in the pandemic-shortened 2021 spring season... swam on the 800 free relay team at the Rochester Invitational and finished third (8:08.23)... also placed third in the 1,650 freestyle (18:52.43), seventh in the 500 freestyle (5:34.00) and eighth in the 400 IM (5:09.03)... recipient of the team's Hardest Worker Award... represented the Golden Flyers on the Empire 8 Presidents' List for student-athletes with GPAs of 3.75 and higher.

Scholastic: a graduate of Spencerport High School, Federico was a varsity swimmer there for six seasons... served as team captain as a senior and helped team to a second-place finish in Section Five Class B meet... also competed fore the Marlins Swim Club... member of National Honor Society, Business Honor Society and Spanish Honor Society... recipient of Warren and Mary Ann Hewes Education Scholarship.
