Nazareth College Athletics

Psychology and Early Childhood Education major... daughter of Carlo and Jenifer Cioffi, Niskayuna, N.Y... returning for her fourth season, Cioffi was a key contributor in 2022-23 for the Golden Flyers, who captured their fourth straight Empire 8 Conference title... finished first in the 200 butterfly (2:16.79) at the Allegheny/Empire 8 Conference meet at Webster Aquatic Center... added a third-place finish in the 400 IM (4:51.96) and a sixth-place finish in the 200 IM (2:17.71)... recipient of the team's Purple and Gold Award for exceptional team spirit and enthusiasm... named to the Academic All-District team (3.50 GPA minimum) by the College Sports Communicators... named to the Empire 8 Presidents' List for student-athletes with GPAs of 3.75 and above.

2021-22: Cioffi earned first-team All-Empire 8 honors with her first-place finish in the 400 IM at the championship meet ... she won the race with a finals time of 4:48.09 after finishing second in the preliminaries ... she also took fourth in the 200 IM with a time of 2:15.90.

2020-21: Cioffi swam well for the Golden Flyers during their pandemic-shortened 2021 spring season... helped the Golden Flyers capture the team title at the Rochester Invitational with a second-place finish in the 200 butterfly (2:13.82)... also swam third in the 400 IM (4:49.66) and seventh in the 200 backstroke (2:18.00).

Scholastic: a graduate of Niskayuna High School, Cioffi competed on the varsity swim team there for three seasons... swam in the IM and backstroke events... was team captain as a senior and was the recipient of the team's Coaches Award... helped team to Section Two title in 2017... served as secretary of the French Club and French Exchange Club... recipient of Victoria Gold Prize for Education and the Niskayuna Consumers' Cooperative Award.
