WINSTON-SALEM, NC – Senior Brenna Johnson used a 5.64meter (18' 6") jump to finish fifth in the Long Jump Friday afternoon at the NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field Championships. The finish earned her All-America honors.

Johnson jumped in the first flight of competitors and had a leap of 5.53 meters (18' 1 ¾") which tied her for first in her flight and was good enough to put her in a tie for seventh place and earn a spot in the finals for three more jumps.

In the finals, Johnson hit jumps of 5.45 and 5.40 meters but followed with her final jump as she nearly beat her career-best effort and moved all the way up to fifth place in the final standings.

Victoria Kadiri from John Hopkins won the event with a 5.91 (19' 4 ¾") leap.

In the men's meet, Kaleb Luton competed for Nazareth in the 60-meter hurdles, but in his first race since injuring his leg in the Empire 8 Conference meet at Utica Feb. 25, he failed to qualify for Saturday's finals.
