ONEONTA, NY -- Nazareth's women's and men's swimming and diving teams were in action on Saturday afternoon at Hartwick. The Hawks outscored the Golden Flyers 190-106 in the women's meet and 194-97 in the men's meet. Senior

Jeff Green each won two events for Nazareth.
Following the loss, the Golden Flyers' women's team falls to 3-1 overall. Nazareth's men's team slips to 2-2 overall with their loss to 20th-ranked Hartwick, who remain undefeated with a 4-0 record. The Hawks' women's team also improved to 4-0 following their victory.
In the men's meet, Green won the one-meter and three-meter diving events with scores of 191.25 and 195.40, respectively. Senior
Mike Bidwell placed first in the 200-yard IM with a time of 2:11.25 and was followed by junior
Justin Sawran who finished with a time of 2:15.13.

Tim Rappold and
Bryan Geary finished with a time of 3:33.37 to finish first. Burke also placed second in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of :55.10.
In the women's meet, Risucci claimed victories in the 100 and 200-yard breaststroke events, and she finished second in the 200-yard IM. Risucci's time in the 100 breaststroke was 1:08.81, while she finished the 200 breaststroke with a time of 2:27.74. In her second place finish in the IM, Hartwick's Imma Rutigliano edged Risucci by 1.39 seconds. Risucci had a time of 2:18.46.
In addition to the victories by Risucci, juniors
Maura Reissig and
Emily Sauter also each won a race. Reissig won the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 1:02.63, and Sauter claimed first in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of :56.04. Reissig and Sauter each added second place finishes in Saturday's meet. Reissig was second in the 200-yard backstroke with a time of 2:16.99. Sauter had second place finishes in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 2:05.16 and the 50-yard freestyle with a time of :25.68.
Freshman
Kimberly Pedrotti finished with a pair of second place finishes as she claimed second in the 500-yard freestyle ( 5:32.44) and 1000-yard freestyle (11:18.54).
Nazareth is in action again on November 11th when the Golden Flyers host Rochester at 1 p.m.
