ELMIRA, N.Y. -- Nazareth won twice in men's volleyball at Elmira Saturday. The Golden Flyers, ranked third nationally in Division III, improved to 5-2 overall with a five-set win over sixth-ranked Philadephia Biblical (25-17, 19-25, 16-25, 25-23, 15-10) and a four-set win over Elmira (25-17, 26-28, 25-19, 25-16).
Nazareth (5-2 overall) hosts Hilbert Tuesday in its first home match of 2011 at 7 p.m.

Billy Gimello had 18 kills against Philadelphia Biblical and sophomore
EJ Wells-Spicer amassed 44 assists. Senior
Ellis Walsh added 12 kills and senior
Brian Bunch had 11.
In the Elmira match, sophomore
Connor Ecklund had 42 assists and Walsh set a school record for delivering a perfect hitting percentage with 12 kills in 12 attempts. Senior
Hans Schroeder had a match-best 16 kills and junior
Sam Guba had nine digs.
