ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- Nazareth freshman Keaghlan Morrissey moved up one spot Monday to finish in seventh place at the NYSCTC Multi-Event Championships at the University of Rochester's Fauver Stadium. 

Morrissey compiled 3,272 points in the seven-event competition and earned two team points for the Golden Flyers as they compete this weekend at the NYSCTC meet at Rensselaer. 

In Monday's competition, Morrissey posted the sixth best long jump with a leap of 4.59 meters. She also ran second in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:29.10.

Ithaca's Emma Dewart won the competition for the second year in a row with a point total of 4,724.
