KENOSHA, Wisc. -- Fifth-ranked Nazareth won two more men's volleyball matches Friday as the Golden Flyers competed at the Carthage Invitational. Nazareth improved to 21-4 overall by defeating Philadelphia Biblical and Milwaukee School of Engineering in four sets each. Nazareth has now won 13 of its last 14 matches.
Against Philadelphia Biblical, Nazareth won by scores of 30-18, 30-28, 23-30, 30-28. Nazareth then defeated Milwaukee SOE for the second time in a week by scores of 31-20, 30-17, 28-30, 30-27.

Billy Gimello each had 17 kills and senior setter
Frank Leahy totaled 57 assists. Senior
Kelvin Rolle contributed nine blocks, while senior
Ryan Johnsen and junior
Brian Bunch each had six.
Gimello had 19 kills in the second match and Petzoldt had 17 with Leahy delivering 55 assists. Sophomore
Hans Schroeder added 10 kills and Johnsen had seven more blocks.
Nazareth plays New York University and Carthage Saturday and then is off until March 27-28 when the Golden Flyers host the NECVA Western Division Tournament.
