Business Administration major... son of John and Erin Schroeder, Kenmore, N.Y...returning for his fourth season, Schroeder was a standout for the Golden Flyers in 2010, appearing in 33 matches and 116 sets...finished first on the team in kills with 428 (3.69 per set) and had a hitting percentage of .281...also had 31 service aces and was second on the team with 99 total blocks (0.85 per set)...posted double digit kill totals in 30 matches, including a career-best 23 kills in a four-set upset win over Ramapo in the quarterfinals of the NECVA Championship on 4/10/10...had 20 kills in a four-set win over Milwaukee School of Engineering on 3/19/10 and 20 in a five-set victory over Eastern Mennonite on 3/26/10...had a career-best 11 blocks in a three-set sweep of SUNYIT on 3/2/10 ...named MVP of NECVA Tournament after leading Nazareth to the championship as the 15th seed...chosen as a second-team NECVA West all-star...named to the all-tournament team for the Nazareth Invitational...
2009: Schroeder played in 92 sets and totaled 227 kills (2.47 per set) with a .414 hitting percentage. . . also produced 43 digs and 53 blocks. . . had a season-high 17 kills in 25 attempts against NYU 3/14/09. . .
2008: Schroeder enjoyed a productive freshman season for the Golden Flyers as he appeared in 96 sets and compiled 125 kills and a .337 hitting percentage with 34 blocks. . . was a perfect 10 for 10 in kills in a match vs. SUNYIT 2/13/08 . . . also had 10 kills vs. D'Youville 1/13/08 and 16 kills at Hilbert 3/13/08. . .
Scholastic: a graduate of Kenmore West High School, Schroeder played three seasons of varsity volleyball as well as two seasons of varsity baseball... earned first-team all-Niagara-Frontier League honors twice in volleyball and was selected team MVP... also received the High Academic Achievement Award during his sophomore and junior years.
