ROCHESTER, NY - Ithaca defeated Nazareth, 9-0, Saturday in the semifinals of the Empire 8 Conference Tournament for women's tennis. Ithaca, five-time defending conference champion, improved to 9-0 overall, while Nazareth completed its fall season at 5-6 overall.

The closest match was at second singles, where Ithaca's Agata Kubik defeated Nazareth's Alexandra Vizgaitis  in a tiebreaker 7-5, 0-6, 10-3. Kubik and Vizgaitis also met at second doubles with Kubik teaming with Melanie Cohen for an 8-4 victory over Nazareth's team of Vizgaitis and Kelly Noble.

Stevens defeated RIT 5-2 in the other semi-final match.  The Ducks will face the Bombers Sunday at 12 p.m. for the conference title.
