WILLIAMSTOWN, MA – Senior
Samantha Luba shattered the school record in the heptathlon at the Farley Inter Regional on Friday and Saturday, collecting 4,529 points. She had personal bests in the javelin throw at 23.74 meters (77' 11"), the 200 (26.16), and the high jump at 1.53 meters (5' ¼"). The mark puts her 26
th in the country for the heptathlon.
How it Happened:
- Luba's top finishes were second place in the both the long jump and the 100 hurdles. She jumped 5.30 meters (17' 4 ¾") in the long jump and clocked a 14.76 in the 100 hurdles.
- Also competing on Saturday were Graeden Heichberger and David Dobrowolski who finished fourth and fifth, respectively in the hammer throw. Heichberger heaved it 53.81 meters (176' 6") and Dobrowski was close behind at 53.67 meters (176' 1").

The three athletes will compete at the All-Atlantic Regional meet on Wednesday and Thursday at Ursinsus College.
