Morse, Luba, & Heichberger Qualify for NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships

LA CROSSE, WI – On Friday, the NCAA announced the Division IIII Outdoor Track and Field Qualifiers for the meet May 21-23, with Nazareth's Isabel Morse, Samantha Luba, and Graeden Heichberger earning nods. Morse will be competing in the pole vault, Luba in the heptathlon and Heichberger in the shot put. All three athletes also qualified for the indoor track and field championship back in March.

Morse enters the championship ranked 14th in the pole vault at 3.92 meters (12' 10 ¼"). That mark is the school record and she hit it back at the Empire 8 Championships on May 1. The senior will be competing in her second outdoor championships after taking
12th in 2025.

Luba earned a spot in the heptathlon by delivering her best performance ever last week at the All-Atlantic Regionals, collecting 4,694 points to break her previous school record of 4,529. She had personal bests in the javelin with a heave of 25.41 meters (83'4") and the 200 at 26.06. Heading into the championship, Luba is ranked 17th out of 22 athletes.

Heichberger will be Nazareth's lone male representative, entering the meet ranked 12th out of 22. His best mark is a school record 17.52 meters (57'5 ¾") which he set last week at the All-Atlantic Regional.
