ROCHESTER N.Y  The Nazareth Track and Field team traveled the short distance to St.John Fisher to compete in the Cardinal Classic on Saturday April 25th. Many great performances occurred making for a successful day for the Golden Flyers  

How It Happened: 

• Kelsey Fahy placed 6th overall in the 1500 meter race crossing the line with a time of 5:00.61, Bailey Visingard came in at 5:07.99 in 10th place and Meghan Moyer in 13th place with a time of 5:13.48

• In the 400 meter dash Alexis Lasher placed 4th overall with a time of 1:01.27, Jordan Wagner came in soon after in 10th place with a time of 1:04.54

• Mariah LeGrow placed 4th overall in the 800 meter race crossing the line with a time of 2:20.16, Ella Impaglia came in at 2:20.52 placing 5th overall 

• Samantha Luba placed 1st overall in the 400 meter hurdles running a time of 1:05.61 

• Jasmine Kendrick placed 3rd overall in the long jump, jumping 5.19 meters (17"0"½ ft), Sydney Lasalle in 4th jumping 4.90 meters (16"1'ft) and Madyson Bush in 5th 4.83 meters (15"10'¼ ft) 

• Isabel Morse took 2nd overall in the pole vault, vaulting 3.85 meters (12"7'½ ft)

Next, the Golden Flyers will compete at St John Fisher for the empire 8 Championship meet on Friday, May 1st and Saturday, May 2nd.
